Instead of our usual community litter pick, we’re going to do a community daffodil planting! Thanks to the generousity of a local resident (Rob Cairney), we have a large number of daffodil bulbs available to us and thought it would be a splendid idea to brighten up the village and plant these in communal areas eg around the SUDS basin at Lairburn Drive, the play park, or other communal areas you can think of (including down at Peel/Glenkinnon).
If you would like to help, please meet outside the pub at 10.00 am on Saturday, 2 September, where we will provide the bulbs (and gloves if you want them). However, you will need to bring your own trowel/bulb planter.
